Brand or be branded
Professor Simon Knox has been at the forefront of thought leadership in strategic marketing for over thirty years. His contribution to the theory and practices of marketing management, in areas such a branding and brand loyalty, CRM and sustainability, is evidenced by the scale of his peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers which now exceeds one hundred and fifty works. This body of work is often cited by other academics and business writers and in 2012, his innovative approach to management research was recognised by the UK Market Research Society in its annual award ceremony.
After 14 years as a full-time professor at Cranfield, Simon has become a professor emeritus in the management school and has broadened his activities by providing performance coaching and mentoring to senior management around the world. He has recently been appointed as an honorary professor at the Australian School of Business, UNSW, Australia where he works for part of the year. As a Cranfield-authorised coach, Simon initially provided his services mainly to Cranfield management alumni but as demand for his 1-to-1 coaching increases, he now works with CEOs, CMOs, marketing management and academics in the UK, Europe and Australia.
